The terms behind the site.

Using this website

By using unseenminorityzm.org, you agree to use it for its intended purpose: learning about Unseen Minority, getting in touch, applying to volunteer or partner with us, and giving through Box of Hope. You agree not to misuse the site — scraping it at scale, attempting to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or interfering with how it runs for other visitors.

The Member Portal

The Member Portal (portal.unseenminorityzm.org) is for approved volunteers, partners, staff, and board members. Access is granted per member and isn't transferable — your account is yours alone, and you're responsible for keeping your login secure.

Everyone in the portal is expected to follow our Code of Conduct and, for volunteer roles involving children or survivors, our Safeguarding Policy — both published in the portal's Documents section as they're finalised. We can suspend or remove portal access for conduct that breaches either.

Donations

Box of Hope is currently the only programme accepting financial gifts, processed exclusively through our pilot partner Sonka — see our FAQ for how giving works today. Sonka's own terms govern the transaction itself; we don't process or store payment details on this site. If you'd rather give in kind or donate directly to one of our partner institutions, contact us and we'll put you in touch.

Our content

Unseen Minority's name, logo, programme names, and the text, photos, and video on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You're welcome to share and link to our pages; you need our written permission to republish our content elsewhere or use our branding for your own materials.

No guarantee, no liability

We keep this site accurate to the best of our knowledge and correct mistakes when we find them — see our Updates page for a running record of corrections. The site is provided as-is, and we aren't liable for losses arising from its use.

Changes to these terms

We'll update this page as our programmes and registration status change, and update the date at the top when we do. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data specifically.
